  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

Kiyotaka Ishimaru | Dangan Ronpa | Spoilers all over here

[Last thing he remembered was stalking down to meet about Brot-... no, Alter Ego, then sudden pain. The hazy heat that was 'Ishida' was gone, faded back to whereever it came from along with his rage. Instead replaced with confusion.

So Ishimaru does what he does when he's unsure what comes next- stalking the halls, looking for someone that looks to be in charge]

WHEEZING INTENSIFIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Originally Chihiro didn't even notice him. She was on her way to do something else entirely. Yet it only took a few seconds after passing him for the recognition to hit her like a ton of bricks, causing her to stop in her tracks.]

Eh...?

[she turned her head nervously, almost scared to be wrong and let down]

Eh!?

[But... there was no mistaking...]

I-Ishimaru-kun!?

[kyodai]

...!!

[Impossible. Completely impossible. Ishimaru freezes, turning and... yes, it is... him.]

Fujisaki-kun...

[Chihiro's reaction is the exact opposite though. Breaking out into a big bright smile, excitedly running up to, maybe even a tear a two in the eyes. Whatever plans Chihiro had before mean absolutely nothing now.

A classmate-- no, a friend was here.]

It really is you...! Ah- I'm so glad! It's not just me in this place anymore...!

[others could escape from that school to this place too after all...!!}]

[kyodai]

[It's like seeing a ghost, but any shock or horror is washed away in tears. He must be dead, this is some kind of weird afterlife. He drops to his knees, sobbing and babbling]

Fujisaki-kun, please forgive me!

E-Eh??

[whoa wait what. Now you've got her all confused]

For... Forgive you for what...??

[kyodai]

[He grips the edge of her skirt, tears staining it slightly]

I was... unable to prevent my Brother from... what he did to you...

[xss]

[whoa man HANDS OFF THE SKIRT]

[It's what he says then that makes her heart freeze

Her hands fall limply to her sides as the full weight of those words sink in.

So it was... just as she suspected.

There's a lot going through her mind at the moment-- what must've happened if Ishimaru knew and how she feels about that, but for her own sake and Ishimaru's, she has to put that aside for now.]

That... that's not your fault Ishimaru-kun...

[if anything it was hers]

A-And it's okay now! I'm fine here, Paradisa saved me...

[a weird way of putting it maybe but not really untrue!]

[kyodai]

[He looks up, looking a bit confused] This isn't... the afterlife?

[Most would look relieved, Ishimaru looks crushed]

[ishimaru please]

No, it isn't! Or... well, that's everyone's told me... I thought for sure it was when I first arrived too...

Um... it's kind of difficult to explain... but I can try if you'd like...?

[kyodai]

[He lets her skirt drop, though he stays on his knees, nodding slightly.]

Yes, please Fujisaki-kun.

[Fine, if you're going be on your knees like that like a bitch then she's just going to sit on the floor too!! It's just too awkward for her to talk down at someone like this.

So she gets herself all comfy in front of him. In the middle of the hall. You crazy kids.]

Um, well...

This place... it's a castle known as "Paradisa". And I know this might be hard to believe but it's actually sentient and has magic powers...

[she pauses]

...I'm sorry. I sound crazy, don't I...?

[kyodai]

[He purses his lips, proof he's not exactly sure *what* to think]

I don't think you'd lie.

Really...? [That surprises her, considering the lie he probably knows about by now. It's actually a little touching to her almost.] Th-Then I'll continue...

So um... the castle is able to take people from all sorts of worlds. Like... alternate dimensions and planets that aren't even Earth. It traps them here, and I think it sustains itself on the emotions of its residents...

B-But you're able to wish for things and it grants it! And it can even revive the dead!

And that's... what it did for me... Although when I arrived I was still bleeding, and caused a lot of fuss for people...

[kyodai]

Revive... the dead?

[He touches the back of his head without thinking, the scalp tingling and aching. No blood, but he wasn't delusional about the likely outcome.

He suddenly stiffens. The dead...]

Then, could it...?

[xss]

[Chihiro looks down. It isn't hard for her to figure out what he's thinking about. She's thought about it too, and seeing him has confirmed to her that the others might show up here one day too... including him]

If you mean Oowada-kun... Yes. It's possible that one day it could bring him here too...

[she has no idea what she'll do if that ever happens though]

[kyodai]

[He's quiet, and finally stands on his own two feet again. Then, softly]

Do you... hate him?

[xss]

[Chihiro stays on the floor, that question freezing her in her place. She's quiet for a long time, looking at her hands clasped in her lap.

Does she hate him? She's thought a lot about Mondo in the last few months but...

But...

For some reason, even though it would have been natural... the possibility of hating him has never crossed her mind.

Not once.

She shakes her head slowly.]

No.

[And then finally looks back up at him from the floor, a sad self depreciating smile on her face and tears in her eyes]

If anything... I only hate myself.

[kyodai]

[he tears up as well, unable to stop himself seeing her cry. He stands strong though, offering her a hand up... though unsure if she'll want it]

I... can't say I understand why he did what he did. But I do know he was... hurting. It does not excuse it but, I will dedicate myself to making it up to you, Fujisaki-kun...

[xss]

Oowada-kun was... hurting...? [and oh no she just made it worse didn't she, she is just entirely convinced she did everything wrong in that situation :{

Still though, she wipes her eyes and takes his hand, finally standing]

Th-Thank you Ishimaru-kun... I'm sorry I caused so much trouble... [For Mondo, him and everyone else...]
