  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[rarifying]

[Are you traveling in the Insolitus today? It's a mighty nice day for a stroll in the place, isn't it? Or maybe you just kind of found a way in there. Paradisa likes to cause that.

You may notice him behind you, you may not, but either way there's a man with a lantern hanging at his belt, pointing a golden blade out. It's clear he has no intention of attacking, however.]

Seems there's quite the array of individuals in this pit, isn't there, friend?

[sworn]

[Vereesa has been aware of his presence as she walks, so when he speaks she makes no sign of being startled. Instead, she calmly turns toward him with a curious glance.]

Indeed. One could lose their way in these tunnels if not careful.

[rarifying]

[Isn't she an intriguing one? He's been able to get a start out of Arisen many a time before, though judging by ears like those, it's no wonder she was aware of his presence. He'll lift the blade slightly, before sheathing it.]

'Tis quite a labyrinth, but I suspect you may have little trouble with such things. Aye, one like you holds keen senses indeed.

[sworn]

I do. [Everyone always notices the ears.] And you hold much confidence to wander here. Not many here would share your interest.

[rarifying]

[This is a guy who thought a monster-infested island of death was 'cozy' so confidence may be there.]

I am no stranger to such a thing, mazes in otherwordly places. Though not seeing monsters where'er I turn is quite a change.

[sworn]

Give it time. I'm certain one will turn up soon enough. [She's only half kidding.]
