Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.
IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]
Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!
What are you gonna do?
Catherine Howard | The Tudors
It would be no surprise. She heard Jane has gone mad too, and that the King has drafted a bill to allow such insane persons to still be executed for treason, so that Catherine would have company until the end. Perhaps that is what he meant when he offered her mercy in exchange for her confession. Or this, an illusion of a castle so lovely she cannot even imagine it in her dreams. It would not be beyond his power to grant such gifts to her. He has always given her so many gifts.
Jane said, back when she was not yet mad, His Majesty spoils you. Catherine knows he does, but is she not worth it? Look at her now, frolicking about the orchards in only her white petticoat and skirts, golden hair set loose about her shoulders. Find her an executioner with an aim so true that he can still find her neck while she twirls about like this.
If she should die, she would rather die dancing. ]

The young woman dancing among the orchards, however, poses as much a threat as a passing butterfly would. They share the same grace, even. Light on her feet, Vereesa is impressed at how well the woman is dancing without disturbing the grass and leaves at her feet.
She moves herself to a low branch, still silently watching her, but at least she is now visible to the human eye.]

That's when she spots her audience, so she smiles and gives a little wave, still dazed. She may be waving at thin air, but it doesn't matter if anyone thinks her insane. ]

You're quite a gifted dancer. Why do you dance alone so far from the castle?
no subject
I wished to dance for you. Did I dance prettily?
no subject
Very much so. I haven't seen such graceful dancing since I was very young.

Did your mother dance too? I think-- [ She takes a moment to bite her lip and collect her words. ] my mother must have. I am certain of it.

Your mother would have been talented as well. My mother danced, but then all elves danced in Silvermoon. Anything was cause for a celebration in those years.

[ Her giggling trails a little too long, but then she takes the lady's hand gently as she moves to try and twirl under her arm. ]
And you, you must dance too.
no subject
I've not danced since my wedding.

As she draws closer in passing, though, on her way to a favorite tree for reading, Anne's forced to slow and then stop, staring with a more pointed look to her gaze. ]

A ghost. Perhaps she too is dead already. ]
Cousin?

So it is you after all.
[ Why her. Her of all people, and not someone to matter to her? Father, she would like her father. ]
You have only just arrived, and I find you dancing for it?
