  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[a pause, the unseen speaker was taking a good long look around and then sighed heavily, dramatically, theatrically...and with a very deep raspy voice.]


I wanted a romantic get away! Not [censored] Brisbyland.

[OH THANK GOD. The last time he was in this hellhole it was just him, Brock and that dickweed VENTURE. His chin wibbles slightly as he dictates]

Pookums?

[Well at least he was speaking up, if he was going to give her the silent treatment she would never forgive him.]

Monarch...just tell me one thing. This isn't another stunt to get Doctor Venture.

And where the hell are we?

Ok, tell me two things.

[He rolls his eyes]

One: NO although if he is here I will find him and teach him the meaning of ETERNAL TORMENT at the hands of THE MONARCH!

[He pauses (and totally isn't striking a dramatic pose SHUT UP) before clearing his throat and casually adding]

And this is Paradisa a fucked up magic castle thing. I was stuck here a while back.

[Long suffering sigh, fingers to her temple as she tried for force back the brewing headache.]

Eternal Torment right, sure. Can we skip over the monologue just this once? Where are you? If we're stuck here at least we can make the most of this....unless you didn't get a room of your own too.

[He sighs, utterly deflated.]

Yes, yes, we've all got our own rooms. It's kind of a thing. I'll meet you in the lobby. Just take the elevator all the way down... that is if some moron hasn't blown it up or filled it with jello or something.

[wow, smoke much? anyway, the goth speaks up]

It's worse than a theme park.

[She has no idea who you are, but she might well be inclined to agree.]

Like invading the fortress of a mutated sea cow or facing off against a braniac midget worse? I work on a sliding scale of worse.

... [okay, wow, pull the other one. neither of those are possible. okay, wait, maybe the brainiac midget one is]

What exactly do you usually do?

I used to Number Two.

Not the bathroom reference, I used to work for villains and organize the henchmen, budget, schedule, file paperwork. Basically Evil HR. Now I'm a full partner, an equal villain with my husband.

[samson]

[Oh, he'd know that voice anywhere. Chin...hands... at the journal.]

Oh, it's you.

Brock Samson. Please tell me Dr Venture isn't here, all I need is to deal with the Monarch's thing with him.

Nah, he's not. Hasn't been here for... uh... maybe two years. Something like that. Monarch, too.
