I was very new to the game when this came about (and had a ton of fun with it) so may be it's something worth mentioning for the new players we've had?

Probably gonna be playing with Meg's new emotions mingling with her powers causing serious electromagnetic disturbances at times, probably going to do a casual opt-in kind of thing or maybe just a catch-all log for Feb for interactions with that, but if you want your character to witness this or be affected by it or if you think you have an intersting way to play off it, lay it on me!

Canon: Dark is Rising
Current status in game: Will fought the Mara possessed Fifth Doctor... and lost. He was trapped in his own mind for several days until the Tenth Doctor found him.
Any current or future plans: There will definitely be some fallout from the fight. Both for Will's relationships with the Doctors and his motivation for learning new ways to defend himself.
Recent open threads or posts: Here. An open log for anyone who wants to notice that Will was missing for several days and talk to him.
Desired CR: More friends! More people to talk to. I would also love to get someone for WIll to argue with.

Current status in game: Conan found Meg's body, and will be investigating her death

Current status in game: He hasn't been around too much this past month, missing some Important Things and trying to actually be a decent person to his friends. And then that whole New Years curse happened.
Any current or future plans: I'm really itching to change Spike's second loss, so I'm debating options right now. If there's anyone who would like to take advantage of his alcohol immunity, this is the time!
Recent open threads or posts: Nothing super recent, but his posts are forever open to backtags.
Desired CR: All of it. Positive or negative, everything works.
Shipping Preferences: Dead forgotten ex-girlfriend issues, but still a flirt. Especially towards strong women, it's his thing.

Canon: Soul Hackers
Current status in game: Still trying to find his bearings. He came from a city where technology was everything, so getting used to Paradisa has been difficult for him.
Any current or future plans: I didn't have him get involved with the Bloater plot because he's the type of character who treats the idea of death with nonchalance, and his chances of surviving the encounter were pretty slim. I didn't want him dying so soon after arriving. Exploring that might be fun in future events, though. Especially when he learns that death has no permanence here, and he'll actually have to deal with the consequences of his death.
Desired CR: I'm open to both negative and positive CR. He's pretty much only come into contact with nice and welcoming people so far, so it might be interesting to have him bump into some characters who aren't so friendly. His view of this place is way too positive at the moment.
Shipping Preferences: Sakurai has a lot of self-esteem issues, so trying to build any real relationship with him will probably have its fair share of problems and be a lot more trouble than it's worth. I'm not opposed to the idea, but I figured I should give fair warning that he's kind of a pain.

Canon: Doctor Who
Current status in game: Recently possessed by the Mara, and was prankish, childish and in some cases damn right nasty and dangerous. Oh, and it threatened to take over all the residents. It failed (and is in the process of being taken-down, yeah, boss fight!) Clean of that influence, I'll be about to chuck Five into dealing with the aftermath. Mental state: concerned about his friends and what the Mara did to them, pensive and penitent, but attempting to ignore his own state, because Time Lord's Don't Do Personal Feelings, apparently.
Any current or future plans: Obviously, people should needle him about the Mara. Getting him to open up a little with someone would be nice.
Recent open threads or posts: Just Mara!Five posts at the minute! But watch this space.
Desired CR: All of it please! Positive, negative, I'm all for it.
Shipping Preferences: Nay shipping, he's Gallifreyan.

Canon: Supernatural
Current status in game: Meg just came back from dying. She was killed by Tex/Omega who was hired by Silva to kill her in the event of his own death, which Meg was responsible for. She has also been canon updated - YOU GUESSED IT - to her own actual death in SPN! Poor bb. Her additional loss is the addition of a human conscience and emotions all the time. So basically, she's utterly traumatized, depressed as hell, and just all around NOPE at life in general. Paradisa is now her only real home, and she has very mixed feelings on that topic.
Any current or future plans: Mostly just messing with her new feelings being all over the map and tantrums and stuff. She's going to be pretty vulnerable and open so she's actually open for real friendships beyond drinking buddies. Now's a great time for new positive or negative CR and I love both so bring it on!
Recent open threads or posts: Gonna post in a bit but she's coming back from the dead today. Will be an open action post in the main comm. She's waking up in the infirmary and will be staggering around with bleach blonde hair, a pretty nasty abdominal stab wound, and generally looking like she just had the crap beaten out of her because well... she did.
Desired CR: anything! She has a lot, but I would like her to build some genuine friendships and bond with people who might also have a lot of guilt on their plate to deal with.
Shipping Preferences: Nay. Her and Castiel are now living together and all in love and stuff. Gross. Aside from running to Crowley when she's making really poor life decisions which she undoubtedly will with all this emotional turmoil, she's off the market. Always up for meaningless flirting though!
Additional Comments: Should be back to being pretty fast with a fresh start and new perspective for her and having streamlined a lot of my RP time management. Definitely tagging back once a day at least, always up for boomeranging. I don't mind playing at any pace though. Please never worry about being slow with me, if it's a good thread and CR I want I'll backtag forever and ever and ever and ever...

Current status in game: Kinda "eehh." About the lack of response to offering to help people fight. Struggling a little more about how he feels about humans (Thanks Galadriel and Felix- :| ) and also getting used to contact again.
Any current or future plans: Looking into monsters because Tales medicines can be made in his game. He already has a mushroom that produces like.. three of the ingredients he'd need.
Recent open threads or posts: Mid January, before the Infected, he offered to help people learn how to fight. If anyone wants to bug him after the infected as either a potential sparing partner, or because they want to learn, lemme know?
Desired CR: Just more would be nice

ANNE BOLEYN | ensorceler Canon: The Tudors Current status in game: Anne was just recently canonbumped to 2x10, just before her execution. Her loss has changed, and now she's unable to pray without company. She's unaware of the specific rules of it, so far only knowing she can't seem to pray, which is devastating to her. Otherwise, her experiences back home have helped her come to accept her fate, and now she is beginning to look at Paradisa as her new home, reluctantly. Any current or future plans: Anne will most likely be demanding an expedition soon once the weather warms, wanting to find a better place to live than Paradisa. Recent open threads or posts: Open LOG for City Royale, taking place near the end of the Lunar New Year party last night. Desired CR: I'm happy with both positive and negative CR! The way Anne carries herself can have good and bad repercussions. Normally she is well known for being able to charm people, but her ego can rub some people the wrong way, or even her lack of shame in talking about Christianity. She can also have a temper when caught at the wrong time. Shipping Preferences: Complicated! Henry may have had her executed and she knows he remarries, but she still considers herself the Queen of England and thus his wife by association. Her feelings for him are definitely in turmoil. I'm open to shipping, but it would take quite a bit of time and wooing. She's more likely to take 'man mistresses' as Elizabeth does, but she would never let that knowledge be public. Additional Comments: A lot of her CR has left, so I really would like to expand it again!

JOSHUA CHRISTOPHER | ofhope Canon: Chrono Crusade Current status in game: Derping around like usual. He has mellowed a little because of the fun of the holidays, and interesting murders to popcorn.gif at, but considering he's turning 20 soon, the length of time he's been in Paradisa is starting to needle at his brain more than ever. Any current or future plans: No major plans with him, but he does keep wanting to 'Stop' the entirety of Paradisa (within the Live Zone) in time, just to see if that will end it's power. It's becoming harder and harder to come up with reasons for him NOT to try this. I am also looking into a 1920's plot for his anniversary in midsummer. Unsure if I can throw up a rough draft for it soon enough, but I'll try. Recent open threads or posts: THREAD at the Lunar New Year party. Desired CR: Joshua has grown so used to CR coming and going that he is reluctant to know people well anymore, and keeps a very small circle of...'friends'. I use the term loosely. He could always use more, to help draw him out of the mansion and into socializing more. A rival could also be fun, someone strong enough so that Joshua wouldn't just flatten them in two seconds since he's a godmod. Poor people for him to troll are always welcome, too. He trolls a lot, sorry. ;( Negative CR is very easy to get with him, because as easy-going as he is, this can often translate into cruelty because of his lack of empathy, and his pranks can occasionally go too far. He loves dem pranks. Shipping Preferences: Joshua has a weird thing going with Lucrezia, but despite their intimate level, he doesn't tie her down, so she sometimes has flings with other men. He doesn't care so long as they don't become too emotionally important. Because of how Joshua's brain works, he doesn't really look at most women 'that way', but he does still have hormones and if he respects someone enough and the situation led in that direction, he'd be open to sleeping with another girl. A 'normal relationship' is probably not possible with him, he's too insane. Additional Comments: Someone keep him from 'Stopping' the castle, please, unless people might be interested in a plot where he does attempt this? IDK how the castle would react, what would work and what wouldn't, but it's a thing.

Current status in game: He's been busy! Most of that has been sleeping around and complicating relationships. He also got gathered a group of people to help oust the Mara from the Fifth Doctor's head.
Any current or future plans: Only if continuing to fail at having stable relationships counts.
Recent open threads or posts: Dealing with the Mara. The fight hasn't started yet so there's time to jump in if you'd like!
Desired CR: Intellectuals and magic types are always wanted. I'd also really like to get him some negative CR. Somebody he might be afraid of or someone that he'd just butt heads with. Felix can be incredibly catty and I don't get to do it often enough.
Shipping Preferences: For now Felix is enjoying being single. He's wary of commitment already so he's sticking to casual relationships for the time being. Men need only apply, of course.

Current status in game: Thanks to the castle forcing him to settle debts, he kind of went against his usual nature and is going to try to shoot Spike.

Desired CR: The boy needs more friends that aren't Vicious. Especially friends that will question his life choices. Female friends are very welcome since there may come a day when he might need wardrobe assistance.

Any current or future plans: Her anniversary is sometime this upcoming week, and I had originally planned to do a loss for it. However, I'm thinking of moving that to later on in the month. That's all I have planned right now.

Current status in game: The bloater broke Jennifer's arm, so she's currently out of commission until it heals. She's hidey and navelgazy because she's taken a hard hit CR-wise, too.
Any current or future plans: Still considering a loss where she turns into a Wraith (an energy-draining bug alien from her home world), but that's on the back burner now until her arm heals.

Canon: Tales of Symphonia
Current status in game: It's been a few months, and Sheena's finally got herself truly together after the Gentleman plot, and is currently in the process of trying to get the Mara out of the Doctor.
As a result of her death, she's also gotten her second loss! She no longer remembers Igaguri (her grandfather); she just vaguely remembers him as some villager who was sick for a while. So anyone who she's told about him will get a puzzled look from her.
Any current or future plans: I would really like to give Sheena the chance to make a "bad life choice" just once. Or maybe twice. Eh... Maybe a few times. I would also like to introduce Sheena's Spoink in a little "thieving" plot if anyone's interested. (The pearl on a Spoink's head helps with its psionic power, so if the pearl disappears, it'll go bouncing around trying to find a replacement.)
Recent open threads or posts: None. Yet.
Desired CR: A little from column A, a little from column B, maybe a date or two...(possibly more)

OPEN STUFF: None yet! I plan to put up a log with riding and musings soon probably.
WANTED CR: Everything, especially negative CR and characters who would challenge her and try to get past her bantering.
WILL THIS SHIP SAIL? Aye and nay. She's in a thing with Joshua but flirting is like breathing to her so that's fine. Anything more comes with a warning that she comes attached~ I welcome any conflict resulting from her certain disregard for fidelity though.

WANTED CR: I'm open to everything for her! I would especially like someone innocent and gullible for her to grow to trust and be friends with, since she's usually so guarded that it takes someone completely unguarded to make her let loose.

Current status in game: Silva has just came back from dieing at the hands of Meg Masters. As a result he got canon bumped to the end of Skyfall where he actually did die and he knows M's dieing too. So expect him to be a little fucked up over that due to his mixed feelings and craziness.
Any current or future plans: Sometime later in the month Silva will be getting his first loss. It's going to be a good one so feel free to mess with him.
Desired CR: Any really. He's capable of having pleasent conversations as well as snarky ones.
Shipping Preferences: Yay but he's really more into casual flings rather then anything else. He doesn't do feelings.

Current status in game: Rise was a mermaid from December 28th all the way up to January 28th, which led to a lot more isolation than she was prepared for because water and no legs. (And also OOCly because I practically disappeared for the last half of the month, whoops.) But she has her legs back now, and is thrilled to be able to move about again! But she's a bit socially starved lately, so she might be bugging a lot of friends and strangers this month...
Any current or future plans: Still figuring out plans for this month! She's lost a lot of CR and I haven't been able to make up for that just yet, so I definitely need to get her out from her much smaller CR circle and making some new friends.
Recent open threads or posts: Nothing recent, nope.
Desired CR: Open to anything, positive or negative! New friends, rivals, enemies, frenemies, kids she can be a big sister at, adults to remind her how much of a kid she kind of still is... anything at all!
Shipping Preferences: ... Except for this, that is. Rise has eyes for someone already, and only her. She'll still harmlessly flirt with and tease anybody young and attractive, probably, but that's it.
Additional Comments: I have been and will be slower than usual since my own computer is dead, but I have use of another computer for now and no reason to think I'll lose access to it anytime soon. So I will do my best to keep up and not fall off the face of the earth again! At least I know my mom's birthday won't be coming up again anytime soon...
