  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[This seems... familiar.
In fact, it is familiar. The magic wish-granting castle where he'd been with Mabel, and talked to a bunch of vampires, then got extremely ill...
Gideon had thought it was all some kind of bizarre dream, so that's what he'd written it off as. But now after everything that's now happened back in Gravity Falls, his amulet destroyed, the shrinking flashlight incident, summoning Bill, stealing the Mystery Shack but then being defeated by the Pines family in the end and arrested...
Somehow he was back here, at Paradisa.

Was it just another dream?
Guess he won't know until he wakes up, if he does.
For now he's wandering around the castle, somewhat aimlessly. He actually hopes that he'll find Mabel again, and that this isn't a dream.
Because being here, especially with her, would certainly be better than being in prison.]

[bezazzled]

[It's just another day in Paradisa as Mabel wanders about. Things have been looking up lately! After all, she's still riding the high of being a Quidditch champ and spending a week pretending to be a wizard. Now everyone's back to their normal selves and life in the castle continues on as usual.

Everything is great! The sun is shining, the residents are in high spirits, and there isn't anything that could possibly bring her spirits dooowwwnnnnNO NO NO NOT GIDEON.

The moment Mabel spots him she freezes in her tracks, seemingly unable to move. What! Why! How? Him! Him? Please let this be another figment of her imagination...]

[telemysticist]

[Similarly, Gideon pauses when he spots her, but for the exact opposite reason.
It's only a moment though before his expression lights up and he dashes ahead to her.]

MABEL! Mabel, my darlin'!
Oh thank the stars above I found ya here again!

[Now just let this not be a dream. Please please PLEASE let it not be a dream.]

[bezazzled]

[This is above and beyond Do Not Want. She starts to back up but, would you know it? She trips!]

Heeey there, Gideon. W-What are you doing here?

[telemysticist]

Ain't got a clue! Guess I found my way back here somehow!

... Oh, lemme help ya there, sugar.

[He takes her hand, and tries to help her back onto her feet. You're so clumsy, Mabel! But it's okay, he thinks it's adorable~]

[bezazzled]

[She allows him to help her up if only because she has no idea what he's capable of. The last time she saw him he still had that--

The amulet. It's gone? Is she finally safe?]

Thanks? So... What's new? What exactly do you remember? [There's a bit of nervous laughter there]

[telemysticist]

[Wouldn't you know it, he starts laughing a little nervously too.]

Uh, well... what do you?

[Because there's no way he's bringing up the whole "stealing the Mystery Shack then being arrested after chasing you down with a giant robot" thing if the castle's weird magic apparently made her forget somehow.]

[bezazzled]

[And so begins the awkward standoff of all awkward standoffs.]

No no, you go first! I insist.

[telemysticist]

N-No, ladies first! It's the gentlemanly way!

[This isn't going to get him anywhere, is it?]

[bezazzled]

But I asked you first! It would be totally rude to talk about myself first.

[Neither of them are going anywhere.]

[telemysticist]

[Gideon rubs his temples and groans quietly. They're stuck in a loop, so looks like he's gonna have to speak first. As much as he hates lying to Mabel, it's... better if he just leaves out part of the truth. Yeah.]

Fine. I remember... ya broke my amulet.

[And that I shrunk you with a crystal flashlight. And summoned a demon to invade your uncle's mind. And stole the Mystery Shack. And chased you down with a giant robot. And then got arrested.
Of course he's not going to mention any of that.]

[bezazzled]

[LIL GIDEON THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.

Actually it'll just get Mabel even more pissed off.]

Because you totally tried to kill my brother! What else was I going to do?

[But that's not all and they both know it. She folds her arms and taps her foot, staring at him. She waits for him to continue, and when he doesn't...]

And?

[telemysticist]

Kill him?! Whadya think I am, insane?! I wasn't gonna kill him!

[Just cut out his tongue with a pair of lamb shears!
... He realizes that isn't much better.
Also, don't answer that question.]

I was just... tryin' ta'scare him off, so he wouldn't come between us again!

[Oh no, that stare.
He's gotta convince her that's the only thing he remembers though, or he's boned.]
