Because Valerie told me to do it, here's the
ROOM DESIGN MEME!

Step 1. Go Here or any other online room plot site.
Step 2. Design your character's room layout.
Step 3. Post them here. Even use them in profiles if you so wish! Build up a real view of what your character's room looks like.
Step 4. PROFIT

Also assume all windows are boarded up except for the one his 'cactus' is in front of. (Shut up that is so a cactus) Is it depressing this is actually a step up from when he arrived and had even LESS things in here?

I only wish there were more varied picture options, but I think this is pretty much what her room becomes in time.

Or yes, better more wordy description here that covers things that this program cannot. Wooo.

It's more like a miniature apartment, honestly. Naga sleeps on the big blue and purple rug by Korra's bed. The kitchen has state of the art appliances that sit there collecting dust because fuck it if she knows how they work. There's a fireplace and shelves and whatever.
Pretend there's a bathroom somewhere too.

( The pics were too big to just post here and I'm lazy so clicky clicky )
That mirror in the middle of the room is supposed to be an easel. All of those pictures represent all of the paintings all over his wall. He also has canvases tucked away in every corner. He has drawings tacked up on a board above his desk and all his art junk all over the desk.
I used the word 'all' a lot whoopsno subject

They are everywhere right now. All over his desk, standing on the ground, in his bed, in his bathroom...

The scale is a little off (there's not that much empty space) but other than that... yeah.

That hot mess will be his. Only dustier, and with more spiders. They cut that out of the movie for some reason. ;P

His room is also insanely messy, so maybe he has no idea he HAS a rug underneath the trash. The single painting you see there is ACTUALLY an advertisement for Turtle Paradise (a bar in VII)- he has no clue how it got there. Also the floor has a bunch of hidden panels and such where he keeps his weapons, materia, and other stuff- and they are rigged with explosives if someone tries to open them incorrectly B)
Spike Spiegel
Fancy stuff! Not that he's in this room very much, but that's about how I pictured it. Like a boring hotel room without the ugly paintings. That white thing in the corner is supposedly a mirror, but I couldn't figure out how you're supposed to turn it. IN THEORY he would have it there to help him watch people break in like they do. He also has a ceiling fan but the thing didn't have one! (Side note: that wall paint is called "elusive dream" aww. Terrible.)

James's room is essentially an apartment. The second bedroom is from when Helen originally stayed there a year ago and he never got rid of it just in case it was ever needed again.
Room in the bottom right is a work area that I can't show what all goes into it as there's no option for that random stuff. The lone chair near the counter is his "I'll be social but not" option.
3D View in the following links just to avoid huge pic spamming.

Stuff I wasn't able to properly show:
-his bed is actually just a Japanese futon now, he gave on western beds after having three.... break LMAO (LONG STORIES...) It is honestly where ever the fuck he wants to put it most nights
-the table is higher and is a typical Japanese table.
-the bathroom is like other Japanese bathrooms: bath tub and then a showering area, which is what that random shower head is supposed to be. It is the ONE THING Adachi doesn't skimp on, and actually kind of splurged on because he's always had a ridiculously tiny bathroom in his apartments.
-I just realized I forgot a closet LOL it's a typical sliding door one.
Also yes he actually does expect visitors to take their shoes off DON'T BE ROOD B[
