  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

What are you gonna do?

[As it happens, Aradia's staying up late (i.e. past dawn) and comes into the kitchen to get herself a snack - except there's somebody else there who she recognizes! What a pleasant surprise!]

Rin? You came back!

[payback]

[A very fondly remembered voice! Rin stands up promptly, shuts the fridge, turns around and comes to give Aradia a hug.]

For a visit. I don't know how long.

[Aradia will accept that brosis hug bump. where doing this man, where making this HAPEN. She smiles, understanding.]

That's okay. It's good to see you again, though! How have you been?

[payback]

[Rin settles into it for a long moment, eyes sliding contentedly closed. It's nice to see another girl... the fact that Aradia is a troll girl is peanuts, to be honest.]

I've been busy... so busy, Aradia! There's so much to see out there... [Her eyes slide half open.] There's so much to do. How have you been? How's the castle?

[Aww yiss gurl power! Aradia pats her back a few times before de-hugging.]

Oh you know, same as always. [that's an "all right" on her part, and an "omg who gives a shit" regarding the castle.] I was just thinking about you pretty recently, as a matter of fact! Where have you gotten to visit? What's out there? Any crazy new animals?

[payback]

I've gone back and forth and around all over... [A huge and secretive smile. Yes, she's become one of those, a bit.]

It's a beautiful land, you know? There's a lot more out there than you see here at Paradisa. [Sly:] Come with me and I'll tell you.

That better not be a serious offer, because I want to take you up on it so bad.

Hehe. I'm serious, but do it when your ready. My offer will stay open!

I'll remember that.

... Can I just ask you - what was going through your mind, when you headed out? How'd you know it was time?

[Abruptly neutral - a little uncomfortable with this, still. Not enough to come back. It would feel like giving up. But it's not as though she doesn't have her regrets.]

... I guess I was more tired of being the one left, so I thought I'd try leaving instead.

[She glances down.]

I miss you all, though.

[Awww. Aradia feels you there, gurl. She pats Rin on the shoulder reassuringly.]

We miss you, too. But I'll definitely come to visit sooner or later. - Are you on your own out there? Apart from this fluffy dude, that is. [She'll also give Tadaharu a pat if he'll let her.]
