It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week!

paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[Mitsuru was out in the gardens, just appreciating the flowers and the warm summer day. The strange man caught her attention, turning her head towards him. Her face remained stoic, but she's curious about this guy]

Need any assistance?

[His ear feathers will twitch again as he looks over his shoulder.... Helloooooo, hot red head.]

Well, I can't say no to help from a lady like you.

[He'll raise up his hand and lift a finger to everything he names off-]

One, where's my Raptor. Two, where am I. Three, this is Caeli's fault isn't it. He's got all sorts of plots lined up for me because of one incident, doesn't he?

Pardon me, but a Raptor? And Caeli? I could only say you're in a place called Cair Paradisa. It's a strange world, far from your home and mine. We're all brought here against our wills.

Y'know, the Raptor-A alterna frame? Finest piece of Hazaethian technology to date? Looks like the Raptor aircraft half the time? [Oh my god lady, you can't seriously not know this?!]

... right. Anyone knows kidnapping is a bad enough felony as it is, but the capture of a member of the Hazaeth military is just looking for even more trouble.

So have you seen a stuffy kashia with short blue hair? Uptight as hell, never out of uniform? Feathers like these- [He tugs at one of his ear feathers] -and has the most gorgeous woman for a twin sister? Not to say you're not gorgeous too but-

I beg your pardon, but you lost me. However you seem to not yet realize, you're in a whole new dimension. It is not the same world you lived in... It's too much to take in and it is difficult to believe, but I speak the truth. I have lived here for months now.

And the differing realms and the old gods were wiped out over two thousand years ago. In case you didn't get the memo, lady, magic's been out of practice for that long too.

[He won't bother with the valryte details and the Vylrun culture right now.]

But assuming this is real and I'm not just stuck in a hologram, where do I find the person in charge? I think I need to teach them a rather painful lesson.

Nobody is in charge. All of us who were brought here just live here now. That is until the castle itself decides to take you away...

[She's used to getting compliments about her appearance, but this guy's natural charm made her blush]

[Her Persona materialized behind her while she continued to scan for someone with the same physical trait like this stranger]

[Mobius is an ace at charming women, and that's one fact that Eric throws jealousy at him over.

Buuuut he's staring blankly when he sees Artemisia.]

[BUT MAGIC BARELY EXISTS ANYMORE WHAT THE HECK.]

[Mitsuru opened her eyes as the blue light fades]

I couldn't sense him around the castle. There is a sudden increase in new arrivals such as yourself, but none that fit the description of your friend.

[What the fffffuuuu-]

Soooo Caeli's not here. [That dumb bastard, he'd have the nerve to ditch him too!?]

...but no other kashia at all? Not even that gorgeous sister of his?

N-No... My apologies.

[And that's the face of a pouty Mobius.]

Really? Pulled into another dimension and not even Alma's with me?!

[He could just cry over that. Sob.

... well, might as well get use to it now. So he'll be putting an arm around Mitsuru's shoulders.]

Well, in the absence of my other comrades, I don't suppose I could get the grand tour from you?

[Mitsuru blushed and gently wormed her way out of Mobius' arm]

I- I suppose I could show you around...

[Damn. Come on, Mitsuru. There are Hazaethian women that would have killed to be in your position right now!]

And it'd certainly be appreciated.

[He puts a hand on his hip.]

But, it's rather rude of me to ask such a thing of a lady without even introducing myself. Just call me Mobius.

[And he may or may not have just winked at her.]

I- [She cleared her throat, regaining her composure] You can call me Mitsuru... It's a pleasure to meet you, Mobius.

[He'll give a small bow, looking up at her and smiling.]

Oh no, the pleasure's all mine, Mitsuru.

I see. Well, shall we begin?

[Mitsuru took the lead, going through the doors that Mobius burst out of]

[May be briieeefly checking her out while her back is turned. Damn, if he didn't have Alma (who is more gorgeous, mind you), he'd totally be hitting on Mitsuru.

Sooo what's the deal with this place? Beyond the 'supposedly in another dimension' thing.

I suppose you could compare it to a hotel. If hotels change form on occasion and it plays with it's inhabitants...
