Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week!

paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

What are you gonna do?

[He'll whirl around and glare at her, scanning her briefly before resting a hand on his hip.]

Don't waste my time telling me what I already know. Who the hell are you?

Someone who is stranded in here like you.

I told you not to waste my time with meager details that I'm already aware of. I've been here before.

You asked who I was. [Sofia shrugged. She's already amused by this guy's attitude. The troll in her wants to annoy him more]

And telling me that you're just another random fool that the castle abducted for its own entertainment does not answer that question. But if you're not going to prove yourself useful, then get out of my sight.

Hmm, an air of authority... [Sofia smiled. Yeah, this guy is a lot like Slevin. She starts to deduce this kid from head to toe]

I doubt you learned to project your bossiness from the military. You seem like the type who was raised in a wealthy family. But normally people of privilege do not possess that much anger and hostility. An orphan, then?

[... yeah touchy subject there, Sofie. He'll be glaring daggers at her.]

I don't think my life is any of your business.

I know. [She'd smile all smug-like]

[Yeeeah, he doesn't like you very much.]

Then you had best shut your mouth before I shut it for you.

[Sofia just smiled and chuckled]

Of course. But, ah. Now you're showing more of your true colors. I admit, I didn't deduce that you have, uhm, instability. It just does not seem... natural.

[Sofia then calmly looks down to that sword. Artifacts that make people crazy? Hell doesn't that sound awfully familiar...]

[Oh, Sofie. Yukianesa causes crazy like you have NO idea.]

Are you simply going to stand there and waste my time pretending you're some kind of detective? I have more important matters to attend to, and getting the hell out of this place after being released for a mere three days is what I care about right now.

[The other care is finding his brother, but y'know. First thing's first.]

Profiler. [She corrected him on the "detective" part]

And yes. [She smiled again before turning her attention to the sky. His issues caught her interest, so she couldn't help but deduce him]

But you could have just left if you really though I was wasting your time, and yet you stayed. Was there some truth to what I said? [She looked down and turned her sight on Jin. Looking directly at his eyes]

[Way more truth than what Jin is comfortable with.]

What are you, a member of the NOL? Or is it that you have a death wish? Because I'll be more than happy to oblige you in that regard.

NOL? Never heard of them.

But a death wish? Well, don't we all have that?

[Under any other circumstances, "how do you not know of the Novus Orbis Librarium" would have been a prominent question. However, he's been through this song and dance. Of course she wouldn't know the NOL.]

And yours is clearly more prominent than others.

What gives that away?

I've heard enough of your drivel. I've more important matters to deal with. [Totally brushing past her.]

And if you have even a single braincell in that head of yours that actually functions, I suggest that you use it.

[She'd use it indeed, to deduce you even more. She chuckled again as Jin brushed passed her, looking back up at the stars while her mind ran. Let's see, an orphan with an air of authority. Could have been raised as the oldest child in his adoptive family?

Perhaps. But why the rage? Daddy issues? No, that's often more subtle because talking back to parents had more dire consequences. Hmm, an older sibling perhaps? But what would cause him to seem to be too eager to prove himself or be all tough?]

... A brother.

[And that effectively makes Jin stop in his tracks. He hesitates, before slowly glaring over his shoulder.]

What did you just say?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you have important matters to attend to?

[Jin's easily on the verge of snapping at this point. She knows entirely too much. There wasn't even anyone in the NOL - save for Hazama - that knew of his brother.

He'll be pointing the tip of Yukianesa's blade at Sofia.]

Who the hell are you?!

[Sofia shrugged as she turned her back on Jin and walked away. Not even bothered that someone is aiming their sword at her. She waves her hand dismissively]

It's not important.

[Oh no, she is not getting away. He'll stab Yukianesa's blade into the ground, causing a pillar of ice to appear in front of Sofia.]

I'll be the one to decide whether it's important or not. Now I'll ask once more- who the hell are you?!

[He's really unleashing the troll in Sofia. Which isn't very difficult when she's bored. But she turns around with a blank expression on her face]

You can call me Sinclair. I said before I'm also a profiler, that's my job - or one of them - that's how I was able to read you like an open book.

And your actions [she casually points at the ice wall] suggest I'm right about what I said.
