  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[Osaka doesn't even seem to notice she has company at first. She just keeps staring into the flowerbed. Then, finally...]

.... Calamari.

I'm not seeing calamari here, sister.

[She turns to her guest and shakes her head.] No, no. That's what I want for lunch. I just decided.

[bezazzled]

Oh.

Then why were we looking at the flowers?

Oh, 'cause I thought I saw a bee go in there.

[Fair enough. But still.]

You're kind of weird, you know that?

[Genuinely surprised:] Whaaaaat? It's not that weird to have calamari for lunch.

[bezazzled]

It kind of is? Isn't that something you would eat at a super fancy restaurant? And anyway, I meant it as a compliment! I'm pretty weird myself.

[Well, Osaka accepts your compliment, she thinks? But she's still a little dismayed about the squid thing.]

It's not weird, it's just Japanese. There's a big difference...

Wait. Squid is normal to eat for lunch? Can you get it at a fast food restaurant?

[Nods.] Yeah, you can get it almost anywhere!

That's crazy! Then why the heck do we have expensive restaurants charging like a gazillion dollars for them in America? I smell a rip off even my Grunkle would be impressed by.
