It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week!

paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

What are you gonna do?

[She's just shaking her head. Man, she has noooo clue what you're talking about.]

None of these names sound familiar.

[She writes.]

What?

[He'll just... reach up and scratch the back of his head.]

... so basically, going back to where we started, we were plucked from different realities even though magic was gone a long time ago?

[Atta boy, Mobius, you're finally catching on.]

[She nods her head.]

That's right. [She writes.]

[He'll just hang his head.]

This... doesn't make any sense. And that means my visor isn't malfunctioning.

[He lifts his head slightly.]

Sooo, what's a guy gotta do to get back out? I'd rather not get labeled a deserter.

[She looks at him. Oh boy! Time to give the Newbie Arrival Speech!]

You can't leave till the Castle sends you back.

[She writes.]

BUT time stops for you while you are here. So, no getting labeled a deserter.]

... I can't leave. Really.

[What.]

...but that other bit is probably the best news I've read all day about it. At least I don't have to answer to the archduchess for that...

But until "the Castle" sends me back, I'm just on an impromptu vacation?

[She nods her head.]

Impromptu vacation is a good way to put it.

I'd much prefer making my own plans. And I especially wouldn't take a trip like this alone. [Certainly not without his fiancé. Speaking of!]

Well, I don't suppose you've seen a gorgeous girl around here with short blue hair? Feathers similar to mine? Walking fashionista? I'd like to think she and I could share this 'vacation'.

[She shakes her head.]

Not seen anyone like that. Sounds kind of awesome though. I'll keep my eyes open and if I see her I'll point her your way.

I certainly hope Alma wouldn't leave me stranded alone... [le pout.]

And how rude of me, you've been kind enough to help me and I never even introduced myself! [Especially rude because it's a -lady- he's talking to!] Name's Mobius.

[She grins.]

I hope she wouldn't either. I'm Chell. Nice to meet you.

[She switches the pen she'd been writing with to the hand holding the journal, and then offers him her hand to shake.]
