It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week!

paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

What are you gonna do?

He'd also rather give you exposition then talk about himself.]

Fair enough. If it wasn't already obvious, you've been kidnapped by this castle, it's called Cair Paradisa.

Really. [Zero finds that hard to believe somehow.

But whatever, he honestly appreciates the helpful exposition.]

Cair Paradisa...? [It's probably obvious from the way he repeated the name that he's never heard of it before.] Does that have anything to do with Landel?

Landel?

[You want obvious? It's pretty clear this guy has no idea what Landel is either.]

...Never mind.

[Well, shit. Landel probably has nothing to do with this instance of world-and-time-dragging, then. How many times is Zero going to have to go through this until he makes it back home?

...But that all has nothing to do with Grumpbot in front of him, of course. Back to demanding exposition.]

So where is this Cair Paradisa, and how do I leave?

A pocket dimension of it's own. You can't leave until it decides to send you home, when it's bored of you.

And that's it?

[No monsters? No crazy head doctor? No being led around by nurses who tell him he's crazy?]

Not really. When you arrive something is taken from you, sort of an entrance price. The place feeds on your emotions, so it likes to do things that'll get an emotional response.

...But I've gained rather than lost.

[Like you know, getting to be a Reploid again.]

That's... Different. Though, I imagine even if you gained something, there's quite possibly something you lost as well.

Like what?

An item, a memory, a skill. Something important to you.

And can I get it back? [...Whatever it is? Zero has his body, his Saber, and his memories of the Institute at least. At the moment, he has no idea what he could have lost.]

When you leave.

[Oh. Well then.] Sounds simple enough. [Definitely could be worse.

Zero feels like he's gotten all the exposition he needs right now, but before he decides to continue exploring...]

...Feel like telling me your name now?

Hmph, I suppose, if you give me yours first.

[Because he has to be difficult.]

[Oh, for the love of--fine.]

...Zero. [Not like it's a secret stealth mission or anything anyway.]

[That's right Zero he showed y-Oh great, I guess he has to now too, a deals a deal.]

Blues... [He tried using a fake name for awhile, but it didn't pan out.]

[Thank you for ~~not being a jerk~~ actually holding up your end of the deal. Zero appreciates it, even if he doesn't show it. Guess he should thank you or something.]

[...Or he could just awkwardly skip that part, yeah. Works too.]
