  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[...So she doesn't know. Zero isn't sure whether to feel relieved or not.]

...Not exactly... [But he is definitely certain that he doesn't feel up to explaining the whole story to a stranger. Time to redirect the conversation quickly.]

So where did you come from? [Now he's wondering if this is another case of cross-worlds, or if he's gotten lucky and somehow made it back home. Being in a castle suggests the former, but he has to know for sure.]

[Judging from the change of topic, Zero wasn't going to elaborate on what he meant. That was perfectly fine with Quake Woman here. It didn't seem relevant to their current situation, anyway.]

From Doctor Lalinde's labs.

[Came her straight answer. It wasn't like Zero asked for a specific address.]

We were returning to there from the Advanced Robotics Trade Show.

[She'd figured he'd at least heard the news about it after the mess with the Emerald Spears.]

[... Nope. Zero can't say he knows of either the labs or the show, if the slight head tilt at Quake Woman's words doesn't already show that. Hearing the trade show being called 'advanced' does make him a little suspicious though, given this Reploid's design...]

Never heard of either. [Might as well state that outright. Better yet, might as well state his suspicions more or less outright, too.] ...Have you ever heard of Neo Arcadia?

[Quake Woman stared intensely while observing Zero's face. From his body language and verbal confirmation it was clear he hadn't a clue. Then again, from his unfamiliar design he must have come from some place far.

...but which country was advanced enough to create a Robot Master like him? Some place in Asia, perhaps?

This time it was her turn to be clueless.]

No, I have not. What is 'Neo Arcadia'?

It's a place. If you haven't heard of it, that means...

[...Zero's suspicions are somewhat confirmed now. Was she even from his world? Or was she from his past, considering her design?

Time for a different line of questioning.]
