  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[ This look of distaste happens as she's dragging that thing along the ground. That sounds absolutely terrible. ]

Directionless. I see. Perhaps that works to relieve some form of stress, if little else.

[ ... Duke stop being rude to the psycho child with a blade. ]

Ahahahaha!! That's right, and I have a lot of stress to kill. [ She's staring at Duke as if saying "Maybe killing you will do." ]

Sounds like a personal problem.

[ There's an edge that makes him shift his balance, just ever so slightly. But there's no real visible sign that he's ready to defend himself... because he's not terribly sure its needed.

That, and he's fairly sure he can react in time if it does become needed. Never mind that he can't see.. ]

Maybe if you tell me what I want to know, I won't take my stress out on yooou.

Let's start with the easy stuff. Where are we?

Paradisa. Currently, the castle. Outside is the lands of the place, and around that is the dead zone.

[ That tone isn't something he's willing to trust, though, so he's slowly expanding how much mana he moves about - getting a feel for whats on the floor, what is against the walls. ]

[ Pssssh what's there not to trust? Except for the obvious amounts of crazy dripping from every word. ]

Paradisa huh? And where's that, wise guy? Elympios?

[ If Duke had known Zagi, he would make a comparison. But he didn't know the psycho had gotten onto Tarqaron, so he can't. ]

No. And neither is it upon Terca Lumireis. It is somewhere else entirely, if you would care to stare at the sky.

Ha! And what's staring at the sun going to prove, bozo? [ Not that she has any reason to doubt she's on another world. ]

[ Well, staring at the sun would prove she's dumb enough to stare at the sun and ruin her eyes. ]

Had meant the stars, as those are quite different from any familiar.

[ Which is probably the biggest clue he'll give her that he can't see. Oops. It is daytime, isn't it. ]

[ She's just leveling her best "Are you stupid" stare. That he can't see. Seriously, those change based on spirit clime. What's that going to prove?

Also it's day. ]

How have you managed to survive on your own, being so useless?

[ Okay that stung a little more than it would have.

He's just.. going to take a step sideways toward the wall, but he's still paying attention to the surroundings through magic. ]

I didn't say I was done with you. [ Going to menacingly saunter over, sword dragging behind her. ]

Who exactly is in charge around here?

[ Dammit girl, if you're going to have a sword, hold it properly. That noise is really irritating- ]

Of the residents, no one. The Castle does as it wills, and while there is attempts at understanding, it is generally volunteer and minor chaos.

[ And while he isn't exactly tense, he is definitely prepared to move quickly if he needs to. ]

The castle? [ Wat. ]

Did you really think that someone would choose to kidnap you and leave you in what could be considered luxury?

[ His tone contains just a tiny hint of amusement - or that 'are you really that stupid' feel. ]
