It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week!

paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

{ There is something oddly familiar about you. That I really can't place, but there is something about that stupid long blonde hair that just keeps nagging at the back of his mind...You. Sure the design is a little different then he recalls, but it has to be you.}

So, the old man actually wasted the resources to build you? Can't say I'm surprised I guess, he's known for creating failures and worthless junk.

[Woah woah what. Someone here that actually recognizes him? Zero stops exploring to stare down this fellow Reploid with a clearly bulkier design, but face and voice fail to ring any bells.]

What are you even talking about? [Forgive his rude tone, but don't actually forgive him, because he's not sorry for it at all.]

Like I'd forget that stupid hair design. You're that blueprint I've seen in Wily's lab. Zero, or something stupid like that. { ~~You're the stupid robot who daddy loves more then me.~~ Bass is pretty used to the sorry not sorry attitude.}

[Good, because Zero will continue to have that attitude. Without apology.

Because wow, who is this ~~totally not jealous~~ Reploid who seems to know him from design? ...slight familiarity of the name 'Wily' aside. It's not the first time he's been recognized by someone he doesn't know, but it isn't every day that someone claims to have seen his blueprints.]

So what... [But of course, rather than get outwardly curious over the slightly familiar name, Zero will do what he does best and be a dick.]

So tell me. { His hand would retract, buster forming on his right hand as he swung it up in zero's direction} What make's you so special, huh? I'm the strongest robot there is, no matter what Wily says or dreamed of with you're plans! I'm going to enjoy scrapping you, and looking over that weapon data for myself!

{ Don't mind a buster shot coming for you Zero. ~~Someone's still working out his daddy issues.~~}

[ffs, if it isn't monsters and sadistic head doctors, it's crazy robots in strange castles who are trying to kill him. Zero narrowly dodges that buster shot, which prompts him to pull out his own Z-Saber--

...wait, he has that again?

Apparently so. ~~Thank goodness.~~ There's no time to reflect on how amazing it is to be properly armed again, though, if this guy is actually serious about picking a fight.]

I don't know who you're talking about, and I don't care to find out. But it sounds to me like you need to be put back on your master's leash.

{ ~~What no fair! Dad never made me any cool toys...Though he did build me a puppy.~~ So you might not have any useful weapon data to copy, but that sword will be a nice trophy to take back}

I suppose you could say he's dear old dad. Some insane idiot with dreams of world domination. Let's get it straight! I'll be the one to kill Megaman!

{ Have some more careless buster shots fired in your direction, a psychotic grin forming on his lips.} Unlike you lesser robots, I have no master to answer too!

[~~But be honest, can your puppy cut people in half tho.~~ 'Dad'? Is this crazy 'roid really saying what Zero thinks he's saying? It's not hard to put two and two together, even while he's trying to avoid being shot. But then the crazy one goes and says something about killing 'Megaman'--

Whether he is or isn't doesn't really matter though - and suddenly, the whole 'dad' talk doesn't matter as much either. Because anyone trying to kill X is not okay, plain and simple.]

You won't lay a finger on him if I have anything to say about it. [Congrats Bass, you got Zero to start taking you a little more seriously. This means you might want to watch out for that Saber he's currently trying to slice you with.]

{ ~~No...But we can morph together to get ultimate power?~~ Well, he might be, or you know he could just be trying to mess with your head. Crazy robots are hard to read.

...Oh. Damn it, quickly leaping back from that saber as it slices off a small corner section of his helmet's fin. Not cool ro-bro, you're messing up my style.}

Oh that's rich. Wily's best creation is all buddy buddy with the robot he's suppose to destroy. You aren't going to stop me from destroying that Blue Twerp. { Alright new tactic, let's aim for that saber, because what can go wrong here?}

[~~...Cool...but rival Rock can do that too. What else can your puppy do?~~ True, and Zero can't say he's a stranger to that treatment. But consider the helmet trimming a bit of punishment for ~~being crazy~~ threatening X like that. You don't get to have flawless style when you mess with your bro's...pretty much bro.

Though the buster shots at his sword aren't appreciated either. Zero can use his Saber's blade as a means to deflect them, but it kind of keeps him from trying to attack Bass some more. Guess which one he'd rather do right now?]

We'll see about that. [Forget sitting here on the defensive. Time to be a little more reckless by trying to get in close with the Saber. It'll leave him open to being shot at, but if he can get a slice or two in, it'll be worth it.]

{ ~~Shut up stop making this about him!~~ ...Well this isn't working. Alright, if you won't just accept it, He'll beat it into you! Attempting to at least keep you somewhat busy deflecting shots, Bass will charge in towards you as well.

~~Crazy is likely a good word for Bass and his plan.~~ Alright! Desperation plan is go, instead of trying to dodge that saber outright he'll try and go in for a punch to your stupid face.}

Your going to regret siding with him.

Nowhere near as much as you'll regret being his enemy-!

[~~Awww someone's jealous~~~.~~ And welp, two people purposefully avoiding being defensive so they can be reckless at the same time is clearly going to end in disaster for at least one them. ~~It also proves that they're related, probably.~~ Case in point: Zero isn't able to avoid being punched in the face. Ow.

But that won't be so bad, if his attempt to cut his opponent at the same time happens to be successful. He sure tried despite the minor painful set-back, anyway. If not...he'll simply prepare himself to try again.]

{ ~~SHUT UP I AM NOT JEALOUS!~~ Ha take that! See look you're stupid where's you're great plan now... ~~Yeah, I mean it's the best strategy.~~

Damn damn damn! Totally forgot about that how sword thing and close range. Bass' smugness is going to lower having that blade cleave into his shoulder armor, and likely into his arm a bit. ~~You're stupid new tech is way better then my antique armor.~~ Alright time to put distance between them and jump back.}

Why are you even helping that worthless Blue robot anyway!

[~~Suuuure you aren't, and you try so hard to prove you're the best because why?~~ Aww no wait come back, Zero's not done cutting you yet...! Why do you have to be smart and move away?? Now Zero has to run after you. Gosh, how dare you make things so inconvenient.]
