Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week!

paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

What are you gonna do?

[Ah? Someone needs help? Rock is immediately pinged by this.]

I've been wandering around and I think I'm near the Lobby of this place. We could meet there!

[Yeah, the ominous "you" is being temporarily ignored for the moment.]

A-Alright.

{ Hahah. Now to start shooting off his buster and making some damage to gussy himself up with dust and look the victim part.}

I'll meet you there soon!

[Rock heads his way towards the Lobby, triggering his armor and looking around carefully. If there was some trouble, he wants to be ready for it!]

{ Already and...pointing his blaster at his shoulder to shoot and scuff and chip part of it. Throwing his hand onto the damaged area, he'll eventually stumble into the lobby and topple over. His acting...isn't so good.}

[Rock spots him right away and rushes over, trying to catch him before he falls. The familiarity of the design is currently lost on him -- he's more concerned with the other robot's well being.]

Are you all right?! What happened?

{ Oh my hero. I'd swoon, but you already caught me so...}

There's...ah. Some robot back there going crazy. It might be one of those Wily bots you see about on T.V. attacking people.

[Rock shifts his grip a little, letting Bass brace against his shoulder.]

Wily... I did hear him over the communicator system earlier.

[Not good... he seems badly damaged, and Doctor Light isn't here...]

My name is Megaman. Can you tell me yours?

{ He'll move to stand, shifting a bit. ~~Time to pull a MM7~~}

It's Bass. I should be fine, I don't think any of my internal systems got hit....{ Oh man totally surprised, and starry eyed.} Y-you mean you're Megaman? That Megaman?

[Megaman shifts as well to be able to support Bass better, glancing around carefully. He doesn't know if that Wilybot was following his new friend here, and with how unknown this place is, he's not willing to just leave him.]

Bass, can you walk okay?

[Ahhh.... Megaman grins a bit sheepishly, but nods.]

That's me! So you're safe as long as I'm here.

I bet if we teamed up we could stop it easy!

[Megaman shakes his head, starting off in a direction away from where Bass claimed the attack came from.]

You're badly damaged. Let's find somewhere safe for you to stay for now!

Alright if you're sure.

Yes, I am.

[Ah, there's a room over here that looks fine. Megaman helps Bass down, carefully. He manages to produce an E-Tank he had on hand, offering it to Bass as he examines the other carefully.

He can't exactly repair, but he might be able to help...]

{ Bass will take that E-tank and restore what little energy he lost. Hand turning into a buster as he'd point it in Megaman's face.} Still far to gullible! Really you make this far too easy. Thanks for the pick me up, I'm glad to know you wasted one of these on little old me.

[Needless to say, Megaman wasn't expecting to suddenly be staring down the barrel of a blaster. He tries to leap backwards -- being that close and with it near his head is bad! -- his own arm shifting to a blaster as he tries to bring it up to bear on Forte as well.

Hopefully, he had moved fast enough to at least spread the damage so it isn't a direct hit on his head...]

I'm impressed. What did your programming get corrupted or are you just stupid? { He won't mind the miss, and in turn shift his buster down to fire at his feet.}

How could you not remember what a stupid choice it would be to help?

What are you talking about? I've never met you before!

[The blast nicks his leg -- this guy is fast! Maybe not faster than Quick Man, but faster than he was expecting. He opens fire himself, aiming for Bass's buster. Better to end this as quick as possible.]

After all the times we do this, and now your circuits corrupt? { Damn it, he's too busy insulted that you don't know him, to move his buster out of that shot's way nicking the lower half.}

Then let me refresh your memory! I'm Wily's only decent creation, and I'm going to destroy you!

You were built by Doctor Wily?

[...Actually he's not that surprised. That was a dirty trick Bass did, and it sure seemed right up Wily's alley.

And for some reason, now that he hears it, there seems something almost familiar about...

Nah. Couldn't be.]

Even if you are, we have something more important to worry about right now!

Shocking that he could build something decent, I know.

Oh? And what's more important then finishing what I've started?
