  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

Just someone with a passing acquaintance of Dr. Halsey and her contribution to humanities survival.

I see...

I'm not one of hers, if that's what you were hoping for.

I wasn't hoping for anything in particular. You are a Spartan regardless are you not?

I am.

You want to talk to me then? I can't answer any questions about her and hers. I barely met her.

Why, it would be an honor to learn more about you... you Spartans gave so much of yourselves to protect humanity. It's a shame that your sacrifice is so poorly recognized.

[lonenoble]

We didn't do it for recognition or honor.

I died on Reach because it was what was right.

You may not have been motivated by honor to do what you did, but that does not make the result any less honorable. True honor isn't simply a matter of intent but of action.

Dying for what is right, because it is right, is something that should always be recognized. If for no other reason than to encourage others to consider the value of what is right over what is expedient.

As for that? I exist for expediency. What was right never was a part of why I was trained.
