Fairyland Animal Shelter

Gold was the last resident I knew of who was ICly involved with the Fairyland Animal Shelter in town. Is anyone still running that? If not, I will likely have Ace find it and breathe some life back into it. If someone IS, he will just end up being a volunteer.

Either way, a couple of former players had put a lot of effort into building it, and I'm going to touch base with them and see if either has the old Wiki details so that I can build a proper World of Paradisa page for it.

The shelter will need volunteers to help with the animals, too, so if you want in on this, let's plan something out!

Current status in game: Spike has been kind of lost lately. Generally just dealing with insomnia and spending his free time making bad decisions before the castle can beat him to it. It's a vaguely transitionary period.
Any current or future plans: Nothing specific right now, but I'd love for that to change. Guy needs to get out more.
Recent open threads or posts: Not right now! Posts to come though.
Desired CR: All CR is welcome. Eventually I'd love to have someone he can have deep crazy conversations about life and death with, but he's happiest with casual CR. And it doesn't take a lot to sway him into a fight, in case anyone needs to stretch their legs.
Shipping Preferences: He's a mess, so shipping is difficult. Dead forgotten ex-girlfriend will always hang over his head. But he's always around for flirting, especially around strong women. So there's that!

Current status in game: Recently came back from her loss that reversed her back to when she was younger so dealing with the fallout of that. I'd be happy to play out any come-back things or even backdate anything you like!
Any current or future plans: Nothing specific! Though I do want to have either her or Frodo be more involved in the upcoming plot. Oh and she might ask for help with rebuilding/fixing up the mansion since the earthquake if anyone would be interested in that!

Current status in game: Gale is staying behind in Fairfield for a little bit longer to help the residents learn how to Be Outdoorsy. I'll probably have him make some sort of open journal announcement for this, so his friends don't worry. How long I leave him out there depends on what happens, I guess, but he'll be back soon enough.
Any current or future plans: I keep Gale's schedule pretty much as open as his posts.

Current status in game: Recovering from the fact that Silva tried to kill her last week but couldn't actually do it. Fail.
Any current or future plans: Still working out with those involved in this log how it's going to end up for her, injury-wise, so that I can make an open post for her sometime this week. She also volunteers at both the castle and town clinics, helping with the paperwork, and will probably be returning to regular bar duty at the Death Match now that she knows Silva doesn't have it in him to off her.

Desired CR: People at her own maturity level that she can just get to know and be friends with are good.

Any current or future plans: I'm attempting to find out who runs the Fairyland Animal Shelter currently, and if no one objects, he'll be finding and taking that over, making it double as his detective's office. Pet Detectives gotta pet detect, especially since Connor went and let a bunch of them loose before he went expeditioning!

Canon: Red vs. Blue: Out of Mind
Current status in game: York hasn't exactly been well lately. He really had a blast in Tokyo and he was starting to make some progress with his girlfriend...and then he got turned into a Lego figurine for three weeks which undid all that progress. Currently he's in Fairfield helping prepare for an alien attack and rebuilding/establishing the town.
Any current or future plans: He'll probably be there for a while, though he'll make visits back to the castle periodically or if anything interesting happens. Interested in being a temporary cowboy? Look him up! His idea is to take the farm he used to have way back during this plot and turn it into a place for anyone from the castle who wants to get away for a while to have a place they can stay that has food, water, shelter, etc.

Current status in game: He's been kind of quiet lately. Aside from popping out to be a total jerk face now and again he hasn't been exactly been up to much. With some of his closer CR disappearing over the last few months he hasn't really seen the point in making new friends, but then again he's always been bad at that to begin with.
Any current or future plans: I don't have any specific plans with him, which is a bit of a problem. He's in a bit of a corner right now and needs to break out of it. While in generals he's a pretty jerkface, he also has a lot of trouble ignoring people who need help, so if your character needs any assistance, he'll be there.
Recent open threads or posts: Robot doing mundane crap while everyone else is off an adventure
Desired CR: Any and all CR is totally welcome. It takes Blues a while (See also: Forever) to warm up to people, so friendships come slow. Also he's a bit of an asshole, so that makes things take even longer.
Shipping Preferences: He's a robutt... Totally possible, but it would take forever to build up to it. Good luck with that.
Additional Comments: I've been slow the last week or so. I intend to fix that up, in a bit of a rut but expect things to turn around soon, hopefully!

Current status in game: She's been doing pretty good. Finally starting to get used to having all this free time. Still exploring!
Any current or future plans: Nothing in particular right now, aside from some cast-specific stuff. In the immediate future Ellie will be hanging out at the shooting range for a while after Katniss helps her get a bow working, but after that, I got nothin'.

Desired CR: ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. Ellie'd probably bond a little better with kids and teens, or people who've been through crazy post-apocalyptic shit like her, but really, she's a nice kid when she's not being a brat. She shouldn't be too hard to get along with. ALTERNATIVELY I'm also up for negative CR, but if that kind of CR ever escalates to the point where Ellie might be in danger, be warned that she has a violently protective papa figure looking out for her. \o/

Canon: Doctor Who
Current status in game: Expedition and staying on in Fairfield for a few days with trips back to the castle if required, but he won't be staying out in Fairfield for all that long. Aside from that, he started volunteering at the clinic in town and sits in as one of the part-time medical staffers. Before the expedition he was a bit melancholy due to CR that went home, and it has him thinking about people he misses and what his own loss might be.
Any current or future plans: He has a problem with his room and would like to see the manager! He will be addressing this when he is back at the castle proper, sometime next week. Other than that, I have a few things in mind but I need to pull them together, first.
Recent open threads or posts: A few expedition threads, but no open post yet.
Desired CR: ALL OF IT PLEASE!! He has lots of positive CR/friends, will always want more and he will talk to anyone. I would like to see him develop some more middling/negative CR too, to balance and stretch him out a bit.
Shipping Preferences: Occasional light flirting with the right CR is possible - he can be very charming - but developing a romantic relationship, nay.
Additional Comments: My tagging speed has actually improved a lot recently, but I still have some small periods of slow; my RL is crazy, please save me from it. Also to mention, I'm a UK mun, so yeah, timezones. If you'd prefer that I don't tag your chars for that or whatever reason, please do say!

Current status in game: Just got back from the expedition. Currently training Utena Tenjou in historical fencing, and is willing to accept more students.
Any current or future plans: Do a log where she trains other residents in swordfighting outdoors. She found a nice spot for training near a waterfall with crystal clear waters! Perfect for camping and outdoor swimming!

Recent open threads or posts: None for this month. I have posts from the previous month if you're up for some backtagging. But I realize I'm not very backtag friendly, but if you really want to tag there I'll do my best to tag you back.

Desired CR: Open to anythang, sweet cheeks. Mitsuru and Lara both need more easy-going company to teach them the concept of "having fun". Chie needs more adventure and more friends! All the friends!

Shipping Preferences: Bitch you know it's always a yay for these girls. Open to same-sex shipping. All day, baby. All day!

Additional Comments: Uh, I currently am pretty busy. Saying I have a lot on my plate would be an understatement. I have a lot of plates, and each plate is overflowing with stuff. That's more like it. But I'm good at managing my time, so I can squeeze in some tagging.

If this continues, though. I'm gonna call another hiatus/slowatus. I currently am considering putting one of them on the chopping block and off to drop land. But if things get better, I might be drunk enough to add a 4th muse. We'll see!

Current status in game: She just got back from the expedition, which was kind of pointless since I hardly tagged anything and didn't get any interaction from NPC's, but oh well. Kind of handwaving that at this point. She's still feeling the after effects of the castle messing with her soul during/after Hogwarts and you're going to see moments where she shows a little emotion from time to time. Just a smidge though, she's still a demon after all. And in all seriousness she will probably join the startup porn industry that was being tossed around if that's a thing that happens hahaha. I do plan to backtag a couple of threads and do a homecoming thread on the arrival post so anyone who missed her while she was gone is free to jump in on that ;)
Any current or future plans: I would like to find her a job, possibly along the lines of bartending. Lara mentioned that she worked at Death Match and that certainly piqued her interest so maybe that's a thing that could happen down the line. I would also like to see her getting to use the full scope of her powers for the greater good of protecting the castle, but something tells me it won't really be long before that might become necessary.
Recent open threads or posts: Nothing super recent. The last thing I did was a log post in the library pre-expedition that had some good CR with Lara and Will and Thorin, totally willing to backtag that if anyone else wants to get in on it.
Desired CR: She's surprisingly lacking in negative CR with the exception of the whole slytherin queen bee feud with Moltov, so I'd actually be really open to that... it's Meg, after all. She's bound to rub someone the wrong way. There's a lot of characters she gets along with great, having made friends/friends with benefits quite a bit around the castle, but she's bound to piss someone off or have the fact that she's a demon rub someone the wrong way. Other than that, she's largely super laid back, a good time, and a powerful ally.
Shipping Preferences: Hahaha. Her quasi-boyfriend Cas is here but he's kind of damaged at the moment and just not really up for much, and while she's loyal in other respects she's certainly not going to sit at home twiddling her thumbs instead of having a good time with other residents. Her and August had a pretty hot and heavy impromptu date and that's probably going to be an ongoing casual thing but that certainly doesn't eliminate the chance for other things of the sort. Her and Barney are sort of headed that direction on in a thread we're still backtagging so we'll see, and I do believe she's got a date coming up with one Mr. Crowley. Oh, and Tucker obviously wants to make porn with her. Long story short, she's completely opportunistic and definitely lives in the moment, so never say never with Meg.

Current status in game: He literally JUST got here, via crashing into the kitchen and landing on Tucker and throwing a complete fit about the whole magic castle thing.
Any current or future plans: Open book. He's a newbie so he's going to have to get his sea legs, but his skill set is pretty considerable so I'm sure he'll make himself useful at some point. As of now, he is setting himself up for extreme failure by speaking to the castle like he does to Woodhouse (his poor verbally abused and overworked manservant, for those unfamiliar with canon.) I haven't decided what it's going to do to him for that, but it will probably be hilarious crack.

Desired CR: Any and all. I love his dynamic with RvB cast (so far just Tucker and Church but I'm finally caught up on that series and can now stop avoiding you hilarious wonderful people for fear of spoilers so please do have at it) and have already agreed with James Bond's mun that THAT CR obviously needs to happen and that he's probably going to be buddies with Conan. He's going to rub a lot of people the wrong way but he's used to that.
Shipping Preferences: Archer is actually somehow an even bigger slut than Meg, so... have at it, ladies. He's not quick to settle down but the right badass chick might catch his attention. Until then, one night stands are more than welcome.

Additional Comments: I vary in tagging speed like everyone else. I like that this game is very laid back in that respect. I do like backtagging so if we have a thread going I will likely continue it, but I won't take it personally if you drop it.

Current status in game: Elfie has pretty much just arrived to Para this month so right now she's still a little confused about everything. You'd most likely find her asking questions to everyone and anyone or wandering around and exploring in places she probably shouldn't be exploring.
Any current or future plans: No current plans as of yet but I'm sure my brain will come up with some kind of way to torture Elfie sooner or later.

Desired CR: I'd love both positive and negative CR in equal amounts. She's not going to be friends with everyone so if your character gets easily annoyed and frustrated by endless questions...hello negative CR! Elfie is miserable most of the time so she finds it hard to make friends.

Current status in game: Just lost some close CR, so she's feeling a little down. She had been keeping busy though. Dairine went on the expedition and will be staying in Fairfield for an extra week, helping out wherever she can.
Any current or future plans: Dairine has been working on a possible Dead Zone security system and has been looking up on the blue crystals. She’ll be searching for some of her own in a bit, which probably will include a visit to Mineas Well. She’ll get back to working on this project once she’s back from Fairfield.

Shipping preferences: He won’t be interested in a serious relationship, but he’d be inclined for a one night stand if anyone wishes that to happen. Maladict | mal_addict Current status in game: She’s pretty chill, she’s a quieter muse than the others, but she’s absolutely find, just poking around, occasionally talking to people. Desired CR: She always lacks in CR compared to the guys, because she keeps people at arms length at all times. So I’m always especially happy for her to get anyone who’ll worm their way in and MAKE her like them. Shipping preferences: Tesla is gone from the castle for the time being, but she won’t be interested in anyone right now.

The Once-ler | whichwayyoulean Canon: The Lorax Current status in game: He’s forever battling all his own mental demons and emotional issues so he’s never going to be in a happy place. But at least the healing process has begun. He’s a very social character and just desperately wants people who love and care for him, despite the fact he feels he doesn’t deserve it. Any current or future plans: Working on building an Orphanage for Anne and a house for the Starks atm. Any recent THREADS or POSTS you would like to point out: Nope Desired CR: Give me all kinds. He's a character who NEEDS it. If he's left alone for too long he starts to go a little crazy. Though he can easily create positive and negative CR, bear in mind that by nature he’s an insensitive jackass, and as such will say hurtful things even to people he LIKES. Shipping preferences: He has a thing for Cass and will eventually act on those feelings, in the most awkward manner possible, so nope. Additional comments: He’s a shut-in. He will happily talk over the journals, but you will almost never see him out of his room (unless forcibly removed by another resident or the castle itself) so bear in mind if you want CR with him, 95% of it will be over the journals rather than face-to-face.

Ben Paul | indirectcause Canon: The Walking Dead: The Game Current status in game: Still getting used to living in a magical castle and not having to run/fight for his life every single waking second of the day. He’s struggling to adapt. Any current or future plans: Just giving him the chance to live as normal a life as he possibly can. Any recent THREADS or POSTS you would like to point out: Nope. Currently I think I wrote myself into a hole with my first post, because without knowing Ellie was safe I didn't have a lot of room for him to open up to people or like... try to do anything other than kill anyone he sees. e_e if I could go back I'd redo it lol because it wasn't ideal for how I wanted to start out in a game and interact with other casts, so I'd like to fix tha...t. Current status in game: pretty used to things here now! Starting to get back on the track she was on in canon before Spoilers happened thanks to the things Ino said to her.

Any current or future plans: she needs to discover her loss, I've been failing on getting that out of the way by using the excuse that she just hasn't realized she can just wish up a computer. If anyone would like to deal with that (reminder that the loss is computers blow up when she touches them) let me know otherwise there'll probably be a post later this month with a small explosion in her room (and tears. lots of tears.)
She's also going to want to try and get stronger again so you'll likely see her lingering around any place with training equipment (might log that one out idk) and possibly asking about "strong people".
Eventually I think I will also try to stir her towards ways she can be helpful to people since that's the sort of thing that makes her happy. Maybe getting involved with the clinic and trying to learn that sort of stuff? Idk. Just any way she can help others.

Recent open threads or posts: there's just her last post, where she's adopting Adachi's vileplume. No one's mentioned it's Adachi's yet btw in case there's anyone who thinks they would know it's his. a lot of the people who knew him well enough to know that are gone though weh

Desired CR: Chihiro really looks up to strong, manly males in canon (in the case of a canon it was a 6'2, buff delinquint classmate who led a bike gang and made her "a man's promise" and shit like that) and STRONG PEOPLE in general (note that what Chihiro considers to be strong is not just physical strength) for ~spoiler reasons~ so I am always down for more of that sort of thing.
Also tall people in general because Chihiro is fucking 4'11 and any way to draw attention to that makes me happy also it pleases me aesthetically don't judge me...

And now that Danny is in a better mental place I'd like to work him towards eventually rebuilding some of his parents simpler devices and/or picking up some more human fighting skills.

Any current or future plans: Eventually I would like to do a plot for Conan involving accidentally taking his temp cure instead of cold medicine and returning to his teenage self the extremely painful and dangerous way it happens in canon, instead of the castle's shortcut. Also thinking of giving Conan a full disclosure loss, where he has to tell everyone all the trivia he knows about every conversation topic that comes up. Any interest in either of these?
Desired CR: Both! Conan acquires negative CR by breathing, but I'm always looking for more! He's tough to be friends with, but I'd love more positive CR too!

Desired CR: Will needs more friends and enemies. He's cryptic and quiet. And fairly tough to get to know well, but I love building close friendships for Will. Likewise, he is very reserved and does not get angry easily. But I would love to find him some enemies. Or even people trying to get a rise out of him.
Shipping Preferences: Nope. Will is thirteen and completely dedicated to his duties.
Additional Comments: Will is my quietest character, and the most difficult to build CR with. Not because hes unfriendly, but because he tends to be very cryptic and to think much more than he speaks.

Any current or future plans: First and foremost - new tech. Someone introduce this kid to video games where you can create and customize. I also want Italy to come across the concept of him having lost something important to him and wondering what it is. Learning that your memory's been tampered with, even if you don't know the significance of your memories anymore, is still a jarring experience.

Other than that! Training. Training, training, and more training. When she isn't doing combat training with Ezio, she's practicing historical fencing with Mitsuru. And when she isn't doing that, she's helping out with Jennifer at the clinic and doing first aid training.
Any current or future plans: Like I mentioned in the July CR meme, I'd like to focus on her becoming more independent and learning more life skills and stuff like that! I'd also like her to learn skills that would be generally helpful and don't necessarily involve shoving sharp, pointy objects into a monster's ribcage.

Other than that! Girl needs a break. She's been mostly focused on training and work to keep herself distracted, and I'd like to have her do something more fun. I'm also planning on having her do a post about sports, games, etc sometime next week when her mind isn't still on the expedition.

Last but not least, she also has some issues regarding being strong and protecting others and herself, amongst other things. She's good at putting on a good face and acting stable, but I'd like her to work through this, eventually.

Shipping Preferences: A tentative "maybe". She has a great deal of baggage re: romance and sex, so working through that will be a pain, and there's a good chance it will touch on triggering or just plain squicky subject matter. And even then, the relationship may be shortlived. That said, I'm open to the idea, and working through these issues (with either romantic or platonic CR) is one of my longterm goals. I'm open to both male and female characters close to her age, though she'll have additional baggage depending on gender. With guys, she'll have to work through trust issues related to past male love interests being manipulative, misogynistic douchebags. With girls, she'll have to come to terms with the fact that she's actually interested in other girls and that her feelings aren't just close friendship/protectiveness/whatever.
Additional Comments: I'm still a pretty slow tagger, though I'm trying my best to get better at that and to be less flaky in general.
