TEST DRIVE MEME Welcome to the Test Drive Meme! Whether you're considering joining paradisa for the first time or you just want to test out a new muse, this is the place to do it. Premise: You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

[And why wouldn't he be, Aziraphale supposes; Crowley might as well be here, it makes as much nonsense as anything else.]

I suppose it's an attempt to make something . . . not majestic a little more beautiful. Since it's one of God's creatures or - thing - and therefore is by default. Wouldn't you say?

[He just makes a face at the name (poor taste) and his teacup is abruptly a wineglass.]

But it's not beautiful, or majestic. It looks like someone gave a lump of lard flippers and whiskers.

[He huffs out a sigh, as if this is a very difficult request to fulfil, when it is in fact the opposite, pouring some of his cherished wine into the angel's glass.]

[There's a decent chance he's being self-righteous just to be annoying, as there's something in his eyes over the rim of the glass that sparkles. It's either a twinkle or an eyelash.]

I imagine I could find thousands here if I looked hard enough. But not the one I think you're meaning, no. What have you found? Besides wine and sloth, obviously.

Everyone gets one, when they arrive, it's how people communicate. It's like mobile phones, except for book nerds. [The 'book nerds like you' is not said, but very much implied. ]

And I've found plenty, I've been here for over five years now, so if you want a list, I'm afraid its very extensive.

You could at least make a start at a list. I've got all day, as far as I know.

I did make one, but the ...third or possibly forth You had it and probably lost it in the library. You really need to tell past-or-possibly-future versions of yourself to take more care of things I work had to give them-lash-you.
