TEST DRIVE MEME Welcome to the Test Drive Meme! Whether you're considering joining paradisa for the first time or you just want to test out a new muse, this is the place to do it. Premise: You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.

[Maine shrugs.]

[Since that was much more believable than a supernatural fairy tail.]

Hoax.

[Maine turns and continues down the hall, towards the stairs to check the upper floors. His team had to be somewhere and this creeper wasn't being a lot of help. Boogeyman or not, this guy seemed to be a lot of talk more than anything else.]

[fearbringer]

Hoax? Hardly. I'm every bit as real as you are.

[A shadow creeps along the wall next to Maine, waving in front of his face for a moment before quickly pulling back.]

[He starts at the shadow, because movement out of the corner of is eye that's not registered on his motion tracker is immediately perceived as a threat. Seeing it pull back, though, he turns fully back towards the stranger and tips his head back and forth, cracking his neck.]

That all you got?

it's up to you whether or not the uneasiness is noticeable to him!

[The shadows start swirling faster, obscuring the lights along the hallway's walls and causing a dimness to settle over them. Pitch focuses on changing the energy in the hallway-- along with the darkness comes with a sense of uneasiness and foreboding.]

[Okay that's not normal. Maine braces himself and pulls down his Brute Shot, aiming the grenade-launching end at the stranger but not firing yet. He growls lowly, he's definitely got a sense of impending doom.]

[The fear continues to amp itself up, and the shadows curl closer to Maine-- not hurting him, but still advancing.]
