What? The purpose of this meme is to expand your CR, make plans with others, and discuss potential plots for your characters. All in one convenient location!

How? Easy!

Felix Harrowgate | lord_wizard
Canon: The Doctrine of Labyrinths
Current status in game: Felix has been in a bit of a low depressive state ever since the nightmare event and the castle traumatizing him with an undersea room, but he's slowing come back out of it, I think. He returned to living in the castle as well.
Any current or future plans: Felix will probably try recruiting for Chimera, his magic council, in the next month or so and will be more deeply investigating the changes in the castle to keep himself busy. A small report in that regard is possible. Otherwise, man-whoring around as usual.
Recent open threads or posts: April Fools log
Desired CR: Felix will speak to pretty much anyone because he's a complete attention whore, although he'll spend the most time with intellectuals, magic types, and people who appreciate his brand of snark. I'm always looking to deepen his CR because wow does this man have issues that need working out. Enemies he can verbally joust with are especially wanted since his capability to be an utter dick are rarely used in game.
Shipping Preferences: He's more prone to sleeping around at the moment, though he still has feelings for Ashura, he's just shying away from commitment for lots of complicated reasons.

Grencia Mars Elijah Guo Eckener | both_neither
Canon: Cowboy Bebop
Current status in game: Recently had a loss change, although at the moment he actually thinks he has two now, because he's afraid to test his old one out.
Any current or future plans: Will be feeling extremely confused and maybe a little jealous over Spike and Vicious' recent bout of castle-induced friendliness. Likely will discover that his old loss is actually gone soon. Also I really should do more broadcasts. I fail.
Recent open threads or posts: Nothing terribly recent, but keep an eye out!
Desired CR: Mostly, Gren just needs friends that aren't Vicious. A lot of his happiness is wrapped up in the man and he needs an outlet. Female friends are especially wanted since he tends to get along with them better.
Shipping Preferences: Nope, he taken. :)

Canon: Sliders
Current status in game: Nothing much, really. Just hangin' out and making friends.
Any current or future plans: Doing a little exploring outside of the city, possibly.
Recent open threads or posts: Nothing recent.
Desired CR: All of the friends. All of them. She likes to see the good in people, so it's hard to get on her good side. You can try, though?
Shipping Preferences: I'd actually really love to see her find someone so she stops hanging so tightly onto the idea of Quinn. It might be a struggle to get her to really commit herself, though, because of how short term her relationships have had to be, outside of the Slider themselves, that is.


Additional Comments: I am currently working two jobs and am super slow as a result. I tend to tag in large bursts every one to three days depending, but I am doing my best to backtag. If I miss any plotted threads or have dropped something you want to continue, I am always open to communication.

As do I! And I'd love for the both of them to get to discussing the self-loathing and guilt that lies at the center of both of them, but that's probably a longer CR road.

Would love to see more Felix and Wade with you (and can't believe I've not poked Gren yet. o.O) I'm interested in some deeper CR with Felix if you are still. I know Five has questions for Felix that he's trying to touch upon without being completely tactless over it, if you'd like to pursue that?

Yes, absolutely! I don't know if you have anything specific in mind for Wade, but from what I understand of Who canon (which is still very little), she's the perfect companion type. Maybe he can join her on exploring?

As for Felix, double yes forever and forever. Are there specific questions you want to pursue in their current thread?

Oooh, I would love that with Wade! He doesn't have much female CR of her age group and I'd really love to develop some companion-y type CR. It's one of those things I've wanted but never known how to ask for.

Yes for Felix, and Five is working up to it in the current thread (basically he wants to poke at Felix's issues, I'm so sorry) - however I recall you suggested a bit ago the possibility of them doing a closed log. If that might fit better and bring things a little more current?

I was thinking of doing a post with her soon to invite people to explore some of the closer areas with her. Maybe the woods and whatnot. That could be a jumping off point?

It depends on what Five wants to know, really. He might be able to drag some of it out of Felix in that thread but some things he'll balk at more violently than others. If it relates at all to Malkar, and it might, since I was drawing quite a lot on the Mara's similarities to his master, then he'll avoid talking about it as much as he can. If you can think of a good opening for a log, I'm open to the suggestion, but I doubt he'd sit down to talk simply to let Five interrogate him. Again, I mean.

Eep, no interrogation (he's still trying for tact, but yanno, Five's alien. He's probably the most likely out of his regens to at least apply some of it! ;) ) Obviously anyone would balk, wouldn't expect any less of Felix and Five would be prepared for that. I do find Felix and Five to be an interesting dynamic (always have) but especially with what's gone on since Xmas, yeah. I'm not translating it very well in the thread but what the Mara did with Felix has bothered Five more than he wants to admit (and wow that Mara thread turned out brilliantly intense and charged imho). Basically translated, I think Five has his own reasons why he's trying to poke at Felix too (apart from the obvious of being concerned for Felix and curious anyway).

Anyway, with a healthy dose of TL;DR there, how would you like to do some science-y stuff with these two? I have an idea for a closed log if you'd like?

I see where you're coming from for sure and I'm very interested to see what things we stirred up between these two.

The log sounds brilliant. Probably near the end of this month or at least somewhere after the current plot, as it's not going to be very kind to poor Felix (as usual). Sound good?
