  Fourth Wall Meme

It's the return of the Fourth Wall Meme, and we're opening it for the next full week! paradisa does not allow non-members to post or comment in our main community, so we're offering this as a place to roleplay with our cast. Both character journals and personal journals are welcome, as well as doubles, original characters, AUs, whatever. Not all can be applied to the main game, but they're certainly welcome here.

Premise:
You wake up in a giant, magical castle. Everything is beautiful and the castle grants material wishes. It also provides a magic journal to every resident that allows everyone to communicate with each other like a two-way radio.
 

Format:
[Actions] Dialogue.

IE:
[Mickey Mouse enters the room, and sits down at the kitchen table.]

Gosh, guys, is this place ever swell!

[Interesting. This sounds like a supernatural phenomenon they're used to. And the name sounds like a kickass name for a nightclub. She needs to jot that down]

[Oh boy here we go.]

Okay so this is gonna sound crazy, but you were probably shoved into the TV. So we're in the middle of the TV world and gotta find our way out--

[...way out.]

Oh damn it to hell! Where's Teddie?! This isn't even where we usually land from Junes!

[Calleigh crossed her arms and listened. She nodded and didn't look surprised at all]

Y'know, me and my buddies are headed somewhere too, but somehow I ended up here on my own. At least I hope I'm not on my own.

Teddie? Don't tell me he's a giant teddy bear...

[captain_ressentiment]

[He's just gonna grip his head with both hands. Oh man, this can't be happening. Then he remembers the whole 'General Teddie' thing so he can't rely on that dumb bear right now... urrrrgh.]

And I came in here with three others! Where the hell are they? [He's looking around] Oh come on, partner, don't do this to me..!

[....Huh? Oh, yeah, she's asking about Teddie.]

He's... sort of? He's kind of a guy in a ridiculous looking bear suit? And now he's apparently taken up wearing a stupid hat and cape. Don't suppose you've seen 'im? I've got to beat the stuffing out of that bear.

Dude, you're like the first sign of life I've ever seen when I got here.

This happened to me and my buddies before. You should be aight while you're with me. [Calleigh gives Yosuke a reassuring pat on the shoulder] Let's go find your- wait, our friends.

But you need to dry up first. You still have... ew, stuff on your clothes. [Calleigh threw some kind of aquatic plant off of Yosuke's shoulder]

Huh? --Oh, yeah! It would be safer to go in pairs, huh? [And he gets to escort a girl that isn't assaulting him! Sweeeet!

Though he pauses and looks down at his drenched uniform and sighs.]

Aww man, but this is the only thing I had... I can't just sit around for hours for it to dry.

Well, there's prooobably stuff you could use inside the castle. I didn't get to check it out much, but it looks safe enough [Calleigh shrugged and started walking. Model strutting, more like. That's always how she walks, like she's on a runway all the time]

[Daaaaaayum, girl. He'll start walking after her... uuugh, soggy shoes. Squishsquishsquish.]

It's actually safe in there? No... shadows or anything?

[calleighfornia]

Shadows? Is that what you and your friends call your bad guys?

Buuut like I said, you're the first sign of life I've seen here. So I'm not sure if there's any "shadows" in here. God, I hope not.

Well, they're not necessarily bad guys, since they're... y'know... TV world monsters.

I'd be able to know in advance if there were any or not, but noooo, that bear and Rise-chan just had to go missing!

TV world monsters... Huh.

I'm guessing these two buddies of yours can sense Shadows?

[Calleigh and Yosuke got into the lobby, which was empty. Calleigh looked around for a bathroom or something Yosuke could use to dry off]

[He looks around the lobby, pretty relieved there aren't any shadows for the moment. Maybe they'll get lucky...

But the fact that he's still dripping wet and leaving a puddle is driving him nuts.]

Uuugh, this sucks. If anything right now, I just wish I had a towel...

[Flop, there's another one on his head.]

Oh shit, I gotta try that. I wish for an iPod!

[And it dropped down on poor Yosuke's head]

Oh come on, don't tell me I'm just gonna get random objects hitting my head now! Not cool, man!

Hey I don't choose the landing spot. Don't tell me that.

[Calleigh picked up the device and puts it in her pocket. She'd definitely try and wish for more awesome stuff, but that should come later. And she wouldn't want a Fender electric guitar to fall on this guy's head now]

[He appreciates that, Calleigh. Really, he does. He reaches up and pulls the two towels from his head.]

Okay, since it seems to be throwing stuff that we ask for... I wish for a dry set of clothes?

[Pop! Right on his head.]

... Isn't this joke old yet?!

Haha, apparently not.

[Calleigh was just checking each hallway that connects to the lobby. One of them caught her interest in particular.]

Huh, I smell chlorine... [The smell is pretty strong too] There must be a pool in here somewhere. Weird. But if that's the case there must be changing rooms for you there.

[He'll put a towel back on his head and start drying his hair.]

I sure hope so. Being this damp is totally miserable.

Alright then, let's go.

[Calleigh takes the lead, entering the pool area and letting out an impressed gasp once she sees the giant indoor pool]

Niiiice~ Oh, right changing rooms. Uh... It's right there! [She points Yosuke to the door that says "Gentlemen"] I'll be right here, just scream if you see a Shadow or a giant spider. I'll kill it.
